RP2040 Advanced Breakout Board + USB Passthrough - JF Edition
The RP2040 Advanced Breakout Board with USB Passthrough - JF Edition is a low cost, ultra low latency controller PCB running the GP2040-CE firmware. It will ship natively compatible with PC, PS3, Nintendo Switch, Steam Deck, MiSTer and Android. PS4 & PS5 is also compatible via an 8-min timeout, however when connecting a compatible device such as a Mayflash's Magic Boots Ver1.1 or Brook's Wingman FGC to the on-board USB Passthrough, the 8-min timeout is eliminated for PS4 & PS5 games that support legacy controller support.
Here is a rundown of how GP2040-CE works on PS4 and PS5 consoles via TheTrain:
"GP2040-CE is able to act as a Dualshock 4 or as a generic 3rd party PS4 fightstick.
Inside the GP2040-CE web-config you are able to flip this between controller and fightstick from the settings section if you have selected PS4 as your input mode.
When you are in controller mode you can go to the addon section and upload DS4 keys if you have them (please do not ask for keys here, we do not have them and they will never be provided). If successfully authenticated, your device will now act as a native DS4 on the PS4. It will also work for the PS5 UI and any PS4 games on the PS5. It will not work on any PS5 titles.
When you are in fightstick mode you can go to the addon section and enable USB passthrough authentication. When this is enabled, and if you have a retail PS4 device connected to a USB passthrough port, your device will now act as a native fightstick on the PS4. It will also work for the PS5 UI, any PS4 games on the PS5 as well as PS5 titles that support legacy controllers."

The RP2040 Advanced Breakout Board - USB Passthrough Edition is an all-in-one embedded design based on the original RP2040 Advanced Breakout Board. This board combines the RP2040 Advanced Breakout Board and USB Passthrough Board into one board based on the original Pico Fighting Board (https://github.com/FeralAI/PicoFightingBoard) by FeralAI.
With the RP2040 Advanced Breakout Board - USB Passthrough Edition using an embedded RP2040 chip, we are able to access all of the additional GPIO pins that are not easily accessible on the standard Raspberry Pi Pico board. This allows us to have many more options on the board so that people can make truly unique and custom contollers including USB passthrough for PS4 / PS5 authentication via a dongle or controller.
Please note that USB passthrough comes at the cost of the Option 1 (GPIO 23) and Option 2 (GPIO 24) pins. To ensure this can be an all-in-one solution I have added a SMD switch to the board. When in the left position, labeled USB the Option 1 (GPIO 23) and Option 2 (GPIO 24) pins will be disabled and the onboard USB passthrough port will be active on GPIO 23 (Data +) and GPIO 24 (Data -). When in the right position, labeled OPTION the USB passthrough port will be disabled and GPIO 23 and GPIO 24 will function again as Option 1 and Option 2. You cannot have both at the same time! You will need to enable and disable the USB passthrough via the web-config if you change the switch on the board.
